The Susquehanna Chapter hosted 19 members at our General Membership meeting held July 8, 2026, at Coakley's Pub in Havre de Grace. Rick Sayre, a certified genealogist and a former trustee and past president of the Board for Certification of Genealogists spoke on how to effectively access key genealogical resources located in the Washington, DC area such as the DAR, Library of Congress, Smithsonian Libraries, the Society of Cincinnati Library, the National Archives, the Bureau of Land Management, and several others. The Susquehanna Chapter was once again awarded 5 Star Level recognition from the 2025 Levels of Excellence (LOE) Award AND 5 Star Level recognition from the 2025 Colonel Marvin J. Harris Communications Award for Excellence for BOTH our web site AND our newsletter. Chapter President Bob Beahm pins the LOE recognition device and the Communications Award recognition device on the MOAA Chapter streamers.
