Susquehanna Chapter MOAA joined the Harford County Veterans Commission and several other Veteran Support Organizations in providing information tables for the Ripken Stadium Military Appreciation Day on 21 August 2026.  Cathy Hampton is pictured providing advice to a retired USAF Officer and his wife.  Also attending the baseball game were the newest Susquehanna Chapter member Active-Duty Army Captain Francesca Metzler and her family.  The Chapter and National MOAA organizations advocate for sustained and improved benefits for all Services, all ranks, veterans and their families. The most recent initiatives include providing information and legislative support for the Taking Care of America's Veterans Act (TCAVA), including the Major Richard Star Act, military spouse WOTC expansion and reauthorization, and GLP-1 pharmacy coverage parity for TFL beneficiaries.
