Susquehanna Chapter, here is an update from Harford County Public Schools on the establishment of a JROTC unit at Joppatowne High School…

“As of 21 February we have 76 student applicants for the program from 50 offers we emailed on 11 February.  The remaining 26 we assigned a random waitlist number for positions based on the number of applicants that select another program or simply decline.  Hopefully, all seats will be assigned by March 1. The instructor positions is a completely different situation. We have only received two application and neither application meets the Department of the Army requirements. We will keep the position posted until it is filled.”
